The Age of Man

Many years ago, watched a geological explorer named Randall Carlson on the Joe Rogan podcast talk about Atlantis

In the podcast, Randall talked about the origins of the story of Atlantis, who Plato wrote of in the Critias and Timaus. It it, was a conflict between the Atheneans and Atlanteans .

The story of Atlantis was passed on to Plato by his ancestor Solon (640-558BC)  on his mother's side, where Plato's grandfather heard this story from Solon. Solon was credited with laying the foundations of Athenian democracy.

The knowledge of Atlantis has been lost even in Plato's day and had been conveyed to Solon by Egyptian Priests. Solon passed the tale to Dropides, great-grandfather of Critias Critias learned it from his grandfather, also named Critias, son of Dropides

This war between the Athenians and Atlanteans took place 9000 years before Solon, which would place it nearly 12,000 years ago to the current day! (9000+558+2000 years or 9500 or so BC)

I will write about a post specifically on Atlantis, maybe another time, but I realized over the years that there are many things that happened 12,000 years ago, particularly 12,800 years ago!

What else happened during that period?

Gotekli Tepe in Turkey, the oldest human settlement was built and buried and was possibly inhabited in 9500 BC.

The Younger Dryas event supposedly took place between 12,900 to 11,600 years ago

The change in epochs, from the pleistoscene to the holoscene took place roughly 11,700 years go, where the mega fauna such as mammoths, gigantopithicus, artodus and sabre tooth cats gave way to the mammals of today!

And apparently, according to ancient religions, Earth didn't have a moon before then. And because there was no moon, the Earth was wetter then, full of mist. I heard this on the Sunday Cool podcast

And what else happened so many years ago? Supposedly the Black Knight satellite appeared then, between 13,000 to 15,000 years ago

I have no message or agenda for posting this. I just want to get all this information together in case there are more
